Morito in Action
"It just felt very easy to order away happily here, watching the single chef, young, long-haired, impressively knocking out the food for the whole place — it takes about 30 people, some at tables, some at the bar — at top speed, on a fierce hot-plate, firing himself up by taking command of the music, switching soothing Nick Drake and Radiohead for a blast of something more high-energy.
The room is simply but artfully decorated — everything open to view, bottles on display in a recess, a mirror at the far end — and works well despite being packed, though it's not meant to be a place to linger after you've eaten. It's rare to be in a restaurant where everybody is so obviously enjoying themselves."" Evening Standard 21/10/10
